The Sunset Restaurant: Experience New American Seafood Dining in Malibu

Everything went well. From arriving in the parking lot and having a wonderful greeting from the attendants to the amazing meal and service and then back to the parking lot where our car was waiting for us when we started walking up everything was perfect. Thanks for a wonderful evening and being so accommodating!! Your parking lot staff is fabulous!! .

Viewwwwssss! This place has the best sunset view in Malibu. We stopped by after a hike and all I can say is that my drink was hitting on 100! The appetizer weren't bad either. Cheers!

Such a beautiful and romantic location! The food was exquisite, the service impeccable, amazing ambiance, pristinely clean restaurant and restrooms, gorgeous view, and despite it being a very busy night on Valentine's Day, the manager and owner were checking on everyone and making sure everything was top notch. We could not have asked for a better experience! We had the scallops to start, then sashimi and steak for our entrees. The food was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely lovely in every way. The steak was part of the Valentine's Day special menu so it even came with a complementary glass of Prosecco (yum) and we ordered a raspberry chocolate martini for dessert as well and it was divine! We will be back for sure! The manager Ron went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our evening and mentioned that they were just getting back on their feet after all the recent fires so be sure to visit these restaurants that are open again! Great Christmas Eve tradition my husband and i have been coming here for 14 years engaged and this is our first year as a married couple . It started out pretty overcast and foggy but that lifted and the sun is out . Husband had the Salmon with spinach & mashed and i had the pumpkin tortellini with shrimp, blood marry & smokey sunset cocktails (husband is my DD) Dessert was cappuccinos and my favorite tres leches with pistachio . Merry Christmas Everyone!

Great bungalow style restaurant with great beachy decor and dreamy sunset views on a good day. Their staff is always helpful and warm. We usually make reservations just in case their tables fill up although there is a lot of availability inside and outside. The menu has a great range of classic American and more special seafood options. Their poke, halibut and seafood appetizers are worth it!! The spot puts in great effort in their plate presentation and flavor their food pretty well. On my last visit i switched it up and tried their waygu burger and truffle fries. Delicious. They have a great happy hour deal for their well crafted cocktails. Honestly 2 drinks here will have me feeling a solid buzz. Worth it!! Price here is a bit higher, but given the views, ambiance, and ingredients i think it makes sense for a good value. My girl and I are slowly becoming regulars.
